Thor: The Dark World will hit the movie theaters this week, so naturally a game tie-in mobile game was just around the corner. And sure enough it’s now been released on Android and iOS. Gameloft’s Thor: The Dark World places the god of thunder in a top-down dungeon crawler that looks a lot like the company’s own Dungeon Hunter games. The game was written by well-known Marvel writer Christopher Yost.
In the game, players take on the role of Thor in his attempt to stop Malekith while fighting alongside characters from the franchise including Sif and Heimdall. Users can upgrade skills or allies and compete against friends for rewards. Our red caped protagonist won’t have to charged into battle alone. If you’ve ever played a dungeon carwler type game before, then it should come to no surprise to you that Thor will grow more powerful overtime as you puchase better armor, stronger weapons, and new skills. The game has over 90 missions and is a 1.5GB download so its sure keep your attention for a while.
